Voice Church
A place where men and woman gather to build community through the channel of the voice with song, toning, and music. I believe everyone can sing and has the right to sing. Voice Church is an experience where we enter the "permission zone." Many of us are not familiar with our voices so we don't know how to use the voice. In VC we have multiple opportunities to explore our voices in playful, fun, and safe ways. Sylvia Nakkach, one of my favorite teachers, talks about "Yoga of the Voice." This is a practice that helps us connect deeply to ourselves, and source, through sounding, toning, and vocal imrovisation. We also incorporate circle song techniques from the founder, teacher, and musician, Bobby McFerron. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
